Mass Effect Tabletop
After playing through the entire Mass Effect series three times, I was left wanting more of the universe, not necessarily based around Shepard. So I decided to make a tabletop game. Hurrah!
A great benefit of the Mass Effect universe (or, rather, galaxy) is the massive scope for possible adventures. In Dungeons and Dragons, you pretty much had to be a wayward traveler wandering from town to town looking for people in need. In MET, the player characters can be all sorts of possibilities. From common duct rats in the Citadel, to gang members on a planet, to pirates, to military spec-ops to council Spectres, the examples are endless. As it happens, the adventure I'm planning to DM allows the PCs to be all of the above throughout the course of the story.
